As part of Eco Day, the whole school took part in a wide range of practical activities to help understand what can be done to protect and preserve the wellbeing of our local and global environment.

Primary 6 children conducted independent research on the theme of paper, choosing between ‘Stonepaper’ and ‘Paper Production and Recycling’. They then collaborated to create infographics on their chosen theme to share with the rest of the school at a celebration assembly.

The children researching stonepaper thoroughly enjoyed conducting small experiments with their sample, looking at its ability to absorb water and how it reacted to different drawing materials.
