While looking ahead to the new school year, the children discussed the impact of digital and paper posters and how they could be deployed differently to varying effect. Following on from this, Primary Six decided to share their learning about keeping safe online by making posters.
Some children chose to work digitally, using their iPads to work on Keynote to create powerful images reflecting our shared guidance. Others chose to share their ideas by drawing on paper. The work has been displayed centrally at the start of the new school year to ensure students are aware of how to keep themselves safe online, and to work within the guidelines we have to be responsible digital citizens. Although consensus on the impact of digital versus paper was divided, the posters have helped to continue to keep our iPad rules at the forefront of learning.
